The journey is the moment when you are away from our everyday way of being, the journey relativize our point of view of the world, stretching time and provides a concrete response to our wandering nature.
Because at some point in life you leave a place for anywhere else? A domanda difficile, difficile per una come me, che di viaggi verso l’altrove ho una lunga esperienza. Valentina Acava Mmaka: una vita vissuta tra il Sudafrica dell'apartheid, dove è cresciuta, l'Italia e il Kenya di oggi, dove sceglie di vivere contro i flussi migratori che dall'Africa si riversano in Italia.
E una missione: quella di tell the Africa overcoming stereotypes and the rhetoric of the continent ravaged by war and famine, disease and poverty, but also of platitudes that silenced the African peoples laziness and backwardness.
